I’m sure you’ve had people warn you not to burn bridges. Well, I’m here to tell you otherwise. Pour some gasoline, light a match, and watch that motherfucker go up in flames. Then construct a new one.
Men have always been builders, but in the modern world, many have fallen from our true nature.
I build connections and when they no longer serve me I disconect, and build new ones. I dont hold on just in case I might need them down the road. There are billions of people in this world. Not all of them will be interested in your product, service, or your fellowship. Most won’t, but more importantly, some will.
When I first started blogging it was hard to get over anticipating what so and so might think of what I shared. I knew that my take on certain topics would polarize me from other blogs that I might want to connect with, as well as, potential employers, friends and family. And it did. But it was liberating.
Being disowned means not being owned. Renouncing approval is the road to true authenticity.
Although I currently work a 9 to 5 for an honest company that treats me well I have developed the skills to sustain myself independently of that. As I’ve said in the past all jobs are Odd Jobs and a job is a temporary means to an end.
Leaders always blaze their own trails. The paved road just might lead to Hell.

I recently was fired from “The Perfect Job” for a complaint by an inconspicuous observer in a restaurant. They took issue with me personally and called my employer to complain. I was fired and it was devastating. 2 months later I secured a position at a company I will surely retire at in a union making twice as much. I ALSO would like to say Thank You. Thank you to these assholes for their ignorance and selfishness. If it wasn’t for their complete adolescent shortsightedness I wouldn’t be where I am today.

Next time I read a blog, I hope that it wont fail me just as much as this particular one. I mean, Yes, it was my choice to read, however I actually believed you would have something useful to talk about. All I hear is a bunch of moaning about something you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.
